The “Original of the Species” video has received two MTV Video Award nominations in the categories of Special Effects and Editing. The awards ceremony, which will air live on MTV, takes place on August 31 at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

I saw the video on Australian tv a month or two ago, but haven’t sighted the single anywhere. Was OOTS ever released as a single in Australia or anywhere else? Strange to release a video but no single.
