PopMart DVD details unveiled

Thanks to U2 Sweden for alerting us to information on the DVD we’ve all been waiting for. Some of us, anyway. The greatest show on earth to some, the tour from hell for others, PopMart – the Mexican branch – is coming out ‘late June’ in two versions, a single and a double DVD. U2 Sweden has the skinny, or you can hop over to U2.com for the official, official announcement. Soon, very soon, you will be able to relive those memories of when the ‘net was young, the tour’s official site was all MSN, silvery and orange and completely inaccessible to anyone not on a fat T1 pipe. Those were the days. Cloggies especially have something to look forward to: four PopMart Rotterdam tracks in glorious DVD quality. You might even spot some U2log.com editors pushed up against the barrier.

  5. I’m pleased to see the second DVD has a ROM section complete with web links! Viva la 1990’s.

  7. I’m slightly disappointed about the content on the 2nd dvd, why put on tracks from different shows that feature in the main show ? What about Do you feel loved, miami, if god will send his angels, um…yeah that’s all. Their setlist for this tour was not as extensive as the last two tours, so less rariities to demand.

    Some of the documentaries have already appeared on the best of 1990-2000, why not collate different interviews the band did with music channels through out the tour ?

  11. Oh yes, I’m very excited about the Rotterdam track! Anyone who does not have the Please single with those tracks should go buy it now, because those tracks are stunning. It’ll be a pleasure to finally see the video.
