The fake ticket warning sounds a bit silly, but a few days ago a colleague asked me if he should buy them.
Also… does anyone care about the Spiderman musical? Cause I kind of don’t.

It is interesting to me in that they will be writing for other people including women in a msuical setting quite different from their traditional “album setting.” I would say – yes definetly I will look out for the music and buy the soundtrack. I live in LA and doubt I would fly to NYC just to see the show but if a business reason took me to NYC and I had a chance to go I would. It will be interesting to see the style of music and type of lyric they come up with. Also – writing for a female voice might actually conjure up a surprise twist. I can imagine the challenge of doing a musical is part of the reasoning behind this project. Musical growth is a good idea – I hope they continue to write non-mainstream pop/rock and leave a wealth of music for future generations to enjoy.

Wasn’t ‘Stay’ written from a woman’s point of view? Seem to remember reading that somewhere.
