We just spotted these videos from Milan, filmed from the front stage pit.

Here’s the copy editor in my coming out … in your blog title it should be “videos” and not “video’s” (plural not possessive) …
Sorry for the nit-pick … and now for something completely different: Looks like the songs are shaping up nicely, with the band sounding tight and B’s voice being really strong for the most part.
Can’t wait until Tampa, Fla. (USA) in October.
Achtung, y’all!

Thanks Caroline for posting these videos. I was there and I must say the sound of the songs – U2 music must be heard very loud to be truly enjoyed – and the crowd’s passion and vibe was much better than what is represented by video. It is amazing that video can be so easily created and shared – however, the emotions and electricity that the crowd shares for this amazing band cannot be recreated by electronics or technology. “Feeling” a U2 concert by being there – in person – is the only way to really experience U2 in all of its glory. For all of the skeptics out there who aren’t sure about going to this concert because the set list seems too repetitive do not be swayed by the setlists or video representations. The “LIVE” concert is a feast for the senses. Go and enjoy the concert, it truly is a wonderful treat and luxury. My wish is that I could see them all!

Love No Line on the Horizon. What a great vibe on the album, but playing live – Bono totally needs to get rid of the guitar – (he’s not doing anything helpful with it anyway) and get into the song physically. He needs to grab the mike and scream and run and jump. There is too much energy in this song to just stand there playing the guitar badly. He needs to own it with his whole body.
